2. What is the recommended equipment for accessing I-Securities Trading Service?
The following equipment is highly recommended:

3. What kind of Securities can be traded via I-Securities Trading Service?
You can trade all Securities listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEx) through this service, excluding Shanghai A Shares, NASDAQ and iShares with USD trading.
Yes, you can still trade at any BCM Branch or by calling the Securities Trading hotline at 8796 8828.
5. How can I make securities trading via Internet?
If you are BCM Net e-Banking Service customer and possess a Securities Trading account, you can apply for BCM I-Securities Trading Service. Once the service is connected, you can access the online service with your settlement account number and the iAccess Password and make trades accordingly. If you are not BCM Net e-Banking Service customer or do not possess a Securities Trading account, please visit any BCM Branch for the relevant services application.
Generally speaking, the Securities market will be closed 15 minutes after the hosting of the Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or above).
If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or above) is hosted before the pre-opening session, the trading will be continued until the end of the pre-opening session.

About Security
1. Is it secured to make trade through I-Securities Trading Service?
I-Securities Trading Service adopted the following measures to ensure your personal information and transaction details are secured:
Transport Layer Security (TLS) and 128-bit Strong Encryption
Transport Layer Security and 128-bit strong encryption is employed to ensure confidentiality. All data and information transmitted between you and BCM Bank through the Internet are encrypted by using 128-bit encryption.
iAccess Password (password)
You must enter your iAccess Password together with the settlement account number for login to I-Securities Service.
Automatic Time Out
I-Securities Trading Service will automatically logout when there is no activity for 30 minutes in order to protect you against unauthorized access.
There are also firewalls to protect BCM Bank's computer systems by refusing those entries that are unauthorized.
2. What are the safety tips for using I-Securities Trading Service?
To ensure safe and proper use of the I-Securities Trading Service, please take note the followings:
i. Please logout the I-Securities Trading Services before browsing other websites.
ii. Please DO NOT disclose or reveal your settlement account number and password in any occasion. You should also note the following points in taking care of your settlement account number and password:
a. Once got a newly issued pin mailer, please login I-Securities Trading Service and change password immediately
b. Never reveal your settlement account number and password to anyone
c. Do not allow others to use your settlement account number and password
d. Do not write down or record the password without disguising it
e. Avoid using easy-to-guess numbers as your password, such as your birth date, ID No., Passport No., Phone No. or similar numbers. Change your password regularly
f. Do not use the same set of settlement account number and password for other services login.
iii. To avoid unauthorized access to your account(s), you should avoid conducting any transactions or checking your account balances in an area where Internet service is available to the public. Please also remember to clear the Cookie or close your browser after use.
iv. You should always access to I-Securities Trading Service in the normal way and never access via a link in an email.
v. If you login I-Securities Trading Service through office network, please refer to the security policy of your office.
vi. If you found or suspected your account is being used by others, please contact us immediately.
vii. To avoid virus access to your computer, you should install an antivirus software or anit-spyware and update it regularly
viii. You should install firewall in order to avoid unauthorized access to your account(s).
ix. To ensure your information is protected by the advanced technology, you should download and update the security software regularly.
x. You can double click the “Security lock” icon at the top of the browser next to the URL (for Microsoft Edge), then click the “View Certificate” tag, a security certificate will be displayed on a new browser to ensure that the site is under the strong encryption by the Bank.
3. What does BCM Bank do to prevent computer hacker?
BCM Bank Security Team will be responsible to keep track of any attempts of breaking into our security systems to ensure the online security.
Account Information
1. Where can I check my current Securities position?
You can click "Trade" → "Securities Portfolio" of the trading platform to check your current Securities Portfolio and the Portfolio reference value (total closing value of the Securities Portfolio).
2. Where can I check Securities account balance?
You can click "Trade" → "Account Information" of the trading platform to enquire the following account information:

3. Can I check my transaction history?
Yes, you can click "Trade" → "Transaction History" of the trading platform to check your transaction history of the past 3 months or click "Order History" to check your orders, including the non-executed orders, of the past 3 months.
4. Can I request for monthly statement(s)?
Yes. Besides the monthly statement you received at the end of each month by post, you can also request for the previous month's statement via BCM Net. Statement requested will be delivered to your registered mailing address with the Bank. Moreover, please refer to the banking service charges on BCM public website for the charges details.
5. Can I print my account portfolio or other information?
Definitely. By clicking the print button located on the upper right hand corner of the screen, you can print hard copy of your account portfolio or other information.
Trade – Order Types
1. What types of order are provided by BCM I-Securities Trading Service?
At present, our I-Securities Trading Service provides the At-auction Limit Order and Enhanced Limit Order type.
At-auction Limit Order:
An at-auction limit order is an order with a specified price. Order at or more competitive than the final IEP (in case of buying, the specified price is equal to or higher than the final IEP / in case of selling, the specified price is equal to or lower than the final IEP) may be matched at the final IEP. AL order will be matched in price and time priority at the final IEP and no AL order will be matched at a price worse than the final IEP.
Any outstanding AL orders will be carried forward to the Continuous Trading Session and treated as Enhanced Limit Orders provided that the specified price of that AL order does not deviate 9 times or more from the nominal price. Such orders will be put in the price queue of the input price.
Enhanced Limit Order:
Enhanced Limit Order will allow matching of up to 5 price queues (i.e. the best price queue and up to the 5th queue at 4 spreads away) at a time provided that the traded price is not worse than the input price. The sell order input price cannot be made at a price of 5 spreads (or more) below the current bid price whereas the buy order input price cannot be made at a price of 5 spreads (or more) above the current ask price.

2. Can I place orders at anytime?

* The amendment / cancellation instruction will be processed after 9:30 a.m., when the Continuous Trading Session begins. If the order is fully executed before the amendment / cancellation instruction is sent to market, the amendment / cancellation instruction will be voided.
Trade – Securities Trading
First of all, you need to go to the "Trade" page. Then, you can input the Securities Code, Order Price and Order Quantity in the trading platform. By clicking the “Continue” button, your order is confirmed and sent.
Before confirming any buy order, please ensure your settlement account balance is sufficient to execute your order, or your order will be rejected.
2. How do I know the Bank has received my order(s)?
After you entered and confirmed the order, you may check the order status by clicking "Trade"→ "Order Status" under the trading platform. If it displays "Received”, it represents the acknowledgment of receipt of your order by our Bank only. There is no guarantee that your order will be queuing or executed in a timely manner in the market. Our Bank will try the best to process your order but it may NOT be performed due to fluctuations in stock price, insufficient market liquidity, system failure or any other events beyond the control of the Bank. You may also contact our Securities Trading hotline at 8796 8828 for inquiry.
3. What is the use of the trade reference number of each order placed?
Each order placed has a unique reference number for easy tracking.
4. How do I know if my order(s) has/have been performed?
After you have placed your orders, you can check the "Order Status" column to see if your order(s) has/have been performed by clicking "Trade" → "Order Status” under the trading platform.
5. What order status will be shown in I-Securities Trading Service?

6. Apart from the enquiry through I-Securities Trading Service website, can I get the order status through other channel(s)?

Our system will automatically deliver SMS notification to customer’s registered mobile phone number with the bank as supplement and reminder message for above order status. In fact, due to unpredictable mobile service network stability or affect by any other unexpected reasons, the message may appear certain delay or even lost during the transmission. As a result, such notifications can only be considered as kind of notification service and customers must confirm their orders and/or transactions through the service channels provided by our Bank.
7. For how long will an order placed be valid?
· Any Buy/Sell order can be placed with good-till date settings of not more than 5 trading dates from order date.
· The order will be valid until the end of trading period of such good-till date selected, unless it is fully executed, cancelled or rejected.
· When the order is in valid status, it will be automatically carried forward to next trading day until the end of good-till date.
· The transaction charges would be calculated on daily basis for good-till orders that are executed in multiple days.
8. Will my order placed still be preceded if my computer was down during the order transmission?
For any successfully transmitted order, a trade reference number will be provided. You can re-login I-Securities Trading Service to check that reference number by clicking "Trade"→ "Order Status" of the trading platform.
9. What should I do if I do not receive any SMS and email confirmation regarding my order?
Owing to unpredictable Internet traffic congestion, telecom network or other factors, email or SMS transmission may be delayed. For enquiries, you can check the order status by clicking "Trade"→ "Order Status" of the trading platform.
10. Can I sell the unsettled stocks that were bought before?
Yes.
11. Can I use the funds incur from selling of the unsettled stock to buy a new stock?
Yes.
12. Can I place a short sell order through I-Securities Trading Service?
No, we do not accept any short sell order.
13. Can I buy/sell odd lots through I-Securities Trading Service?
No, you have to contact our Securities Trading hotline 8796 8828 or visit any BCM Branch to arrange odd lots trade.
14. Can I sell physical share through I-Securities Trading Service?
You can only sell the physical share that has already been settled.
15. Will I receive any
confirmation letter regarding Securities Trading transaction?
After
your trade order has been executed, SMS or email notification will be sent to
you to notify your trade record whilst relevant Securities Deal Confirmation
will be mailed to your registered mailing address with the Bank. Besides, a
monthly statement related to your Securities Trading account will also be
delivered by mail for your record.
All Securities Trading transactions will be settled on settlement day (T*+2) and settled amount will directly be debited from/credited to your Settlement Account. In case of any stock purchased, the purchase amount and all relevant costs will directly debit from your Settlement Account. In case of a Stock sold, the revenue after deducting all relevant costs will be credited to your Settlement Account on settlement day.

Trade - Stop Loss Order
Stop Loss Order is a sell instruction with a preset Stop Loss Price and a specified Lowest Selling Price for specific securities in order to help you minimize potential losses or lock in profit when you cannot closely monitor the stock market. Once the current nominal price of the stock drops to or below your preset Stop Loss Price in Continuous Trading Session, your Stop Loss Order will be triggered and placed to market as an Enhanced Limit Order for execution. The executed price may be better than, or equal to your Lowest Selling Price. The Stop Loss Order will not be executed at the price below the specified Lowest Selling Price, and it may be rejected if the current BID price is above the Lowest Selling Price to a certain extent (according to trading mechanism of HKEx), the Bank will use its best endeavors to process your Stop Loss Order, but it may not be performed due to fluctuation in stock price, inadequate market liquidity, system failure and any event beyond the control of the Bank. The order may be fully executed, partially executed, unexecuted or even rejected.
2. How to place a Stop Loss Order?
You can click "Securities Trading" and select stop loss. Then, you are asked to input securities code, order quantity, stop loss price, lowest selling price and select good till date (up to 5 trading days from the order date) correspondingly. After inputting the required information, you may simply click "Continue" button to the confirmation page and your order will be sent after clicking the "Confirm" button. Before confirming the stop loss order, please ensure the stock holding in your account is sufficient to execute your order, otherwise your order will be rejected.
Also, you can click "Securities Portfolio", and then click
"Stop Loss" button of a stock which you want to sell. You will
then be directed to the page "Securities Trading" with pre-set
stop loss order and pre-filled securities code and order quantity (total
available quantity). You may adjust order quantity and input stop loss price,
lowest selling price and select good till date (up to 5 trading days from the
order date) correspondingly. Then you need to follow the same steps as
mentioned above.
3. How shall I set the Stop Loss Price and Lowest Selling Price?
The Stop Loss Price must be lower than current nominal price. The Lowest Selling Price must be equal to or lower than Stop Loss Price but within 6 spreads.
4. How shall I modify a Stop Loss Price?
To modify a Stop Loss Order, please cancel it first and then place a new order. The executed part of the present order cannot be cancelled, while only the outstanding part of the order can be cancelled before market closes on the same trading day.
5. Can I set valid day for a Stop Loss Order?
Yes, Stop Loss Order can be valid for up to 5 trading days. For Stop Loss Order which is valid for more than 1 trading day, it will be automatically carried forward to next trading day until the good till date if it is not triggered, cancelled or rejected on a trading day before the good till date. Once triggered, the order will lapse at the end of that trading day and will not be carried forward to next trading day regardless of whether the order is fully executed or not.
Trade – Amend / Cancel Order
1. Can I check, amend or cancel an order through I-Securities Trading Service?
You can amend (except Good Till or Stop Loss orders) or cancel any order that has not yet been fully executed. You may go to "Trade"→ "Order Status" of the trading platform to find your order & then click "Amend" or "Cancel" and input the modified price and/or quantity and click "Continue" to proceed with the order.
2. What item(s) can be amended for order(s) that has/have already been placed?
During the trading hour, you can amend the order price or increase the order quantity of the At-auction Limit Order and Enhanced Limit Order, except Good Till or Stop Loss orders, but the original order will be cancelled while a new Enhanced Limit Order will be placed.
3. Can I amend or cancel any buy/sell order?
You can amend (except Good Till or Stop Loss Orders) or cancel any orders that are not yet executed through I-Securities Trading Service, Securities Trading hotline or any BCM Branch during the trading hour. Please note the followings for any amendment or cancellation:

· In case a new amendment instruction is given before the execution of the previous amendment instruction, the Bank will only perform your latest instruction

Securities Investment Savings Plan
1. What is Securities Investment Savings Plan?
The Securities Investment Savings Plan (“SISP”) enables customers to invest in a number of eligible stocks at specific monthly investment amount with minimum of HKD$1,000, through which customers can accumulate stock portfolio to achieve investment goals. eIPO Subscription Services
1. Can I subscribe an IPO through BCM I-Securities Trading Service?
Yes. Subject to the availability of that IPO from the Bank.
Yes. When you have successfully submitted the IPO subscription, you will be notified by SMS and/or email the subscription status. Also, an advice will be sent to your registered mailing address with the Bank for your record.
3. Can I amend or cancel the IPO subscription that placed?
No. Once the subscription is accepted, you cannot amend or cancel through I-Securities Trading Service. You must visit any BCM Branch for any amendment or cancellation at least one day before the IPO subscription deadline that is defined by the Bank (and not the deadline of the IPO Issuer).
4. Can I submit more than one subscription for one single IPO?
No. Your subscription will be rejected if you have made more than one subscription or if we suspect you have made repeated subscriptions.
5. How do I know if my IPO subscription succeeds or not?
You can login to the I-Securities Trading Service and check the result from "IPO Centre"→ "IPO Application History". Besides, notification via SMS and/or email and an advice will be arranged to inform you the IPO subscription result.
Real-Time Stock Quotes Services
1. How can I get the Securities price?
You may go to "Trade" à “Real Time Snapshot” and then input the Securities Code and click “Search”. Then, the Securities price and related information will be displayed.
2. How can I subscribe the Online Real-time Stock Quote Service?
Each Securities Trading account will have 200 free clicks per month. You can click “Other Info” à “Free Click Info” for more detail information of your real time quote service.
3. How do I know the Usage of Real-time Stock Quote Service?
You may go to “Other Info” à “Free Click Info” for more details on the usage of the real time quote service.
4. How much does the Real-time Stock Quote Service charge?
The excess clicks after the first 200 free clicks per month will be subjected to a service charge of HKD0.10 each at a minimum of HKD10 per month. Unused free clicks will not be carried forward to the following month.

2. What can I do if the Internet connection seems slow?
There are many factors affecting the Internet connection, such as your modem baud rate, your PC hardware configuration, the Internet traffic, phone line quality, etc. To provide a better Internet connection environment, we suggest you to use broadband and your PC hardware configuration should be at least P4 1.6GHz , 512MB RAM or above .
3. Why does my browser always show “please wait”?
Although you have already installed the correct version of browser, some of the files may be damaged or lost. In this case, you should reinstall your browser again.
4. Why does my browser always show “The page cannot be displayed” or “Unable to locate the server”?
In this case, you should check the URL for spelling, punctuation and capitalization errors and try again. If the messages still occur, the web server that you are trying to connect could be down or not working properly. Try again later or contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.
5. Why are there so many unreadable characters in your web site?
For English based operation system, the browser probably could not display Chinese character normally. You can install some plug-in programs specially designed to view Chinese character. If you still encounter the problem, we recommend you to view the English version.

1. What should I do in case I forget my iAccess Password or already invalid?
You should visit any BCM Branch for the re-issuance of new iAccess Password.
2. What is the use of the Cost Calculator?
The Cost Calculator helps you estimate the cost of transaction(s). It includes the transaction amount, brokerage fees, deposit charges, transaction levy, CCASS charges and stamp duty.
3. Can I change my personal details?
Sure. Please update your personal information via BCM Net e-Banking Service. You have to go to "Customer Info" and select "Request Change" and select “Save” to confirm your request. Your information will then be updated on the next working day accordingly.
4. What is the purpose of providing my personal mobile number or email address?
For transactions made through I-Securities Trading Service, you will receive SMS and/or email notification once your order is executed.
